Meet the Principal
Megan Moffett
The Elizabethtown Area School District unanimously approved Megan Moffett as East High Street Elementary School’s principal in February 2022.
Ms. Moffett began her career in education with the Palmyra Area School District (PASD) in 2006 as a classroom teacher at the elementary level. During her tenure at PASD, she served as grade-level chair and on the English Language Arts and Mathematics curriculum committees, participated in professional learning communities, and was a professional development presenter to her peers. Prior to coming to Elizabethtown, she served as an adjunct professor and university supervisor for Penn State University – Harrisburg campus.
Ms. Moffett has significant experience in early childhood education, working with data and instructional support teams, designing and utilizing assessments to make data-driven decisions, and organizing and directing school-wide events for families and the community.
Ms. Moffett holds a a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from Towson University, and a Master of Education in Teaching and Curriculum from Pennsylvania State University – Harrisburg campus (PSU). Her principal certification is also through PSU.
